An interesting result from an ongoing poll is having a surprising result. Depending how you read the poll, either side of the question has something to crow about.


The current poll has those who want to keep the identity of those who post anonymously in a narrow majority.

On the other hand it has those who want to want open identities on the internet only two or three percent behind.

Considering the seriousness of the crime involved, these figures are both remarkable and point out the string divisions within that community.

Whatever the outcome of the lawsuit that triggered this poll is, there will be a lot of unhappy people and some likely changes as to how Blogs and forums are run and how people comment on them.
